Workshops & Seminars
"Spring has most definitely arrived and we are enjoyably busy with the current series of the Brainsex Matters workshops. If you are thinking of coming, please note that we can only accommodate a small number of people per workshop. There are now only two workshops left in this series: May and June. Please book early to avoid disappointment!
The comment below is from one of the April workshop female attendees. It is so true what she says and I am delighted she found the day so valuable."
"Thank you so much for Saturday. I really enjoyed it and think it will have an enormously valuable impact on my life and marriage. Amazing! I thought that men were exactly like us, but consciously chose not to behave in the way that we do. It's so enlightening to know that we really are different biologically and that they don't behave in certain ways just to annoy us - they think and react certain ways because that's how they are 'programmed'! I think everyone should be aware of this...it would save countless marriages and depressions, etc. It made me realise that we all need to be a bit more sympathetic and sensitive to the opposite sex and cut them some slack."
Brainsex Matters seminars and workshops are tailored to the specific needs of the individual client or organisation. All our products are designed to engage, entertain, challenge and deliver maximum stimuli for development and change.
Individual and corporate enquiries for seminars and workshops not featured here are welcome. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Brainsex guide to teaching
A one-day or half-day workshop for teachers, parents and educationalists
Tremendous strides have been made in the last decade in our understanding of the brain. This new technology gives us a way of looking inside the living brain, producing an explosion of new information. Some 95% of everything we know about the internal workings of the human brain has been discovered in the last 10 years.
New research reveals a large number of brainsex differences in processing information. This new knowledge has lead to a greater understanding of the different ways in which boys and girls and men and women learn.
Brainsex knowledge is a powerful tool for educationalists in the radical improvement of teaching methods at every level. Brainsex research suggests society is failing boys and girls by its gender-neutral education policy. Scientific study reveals that boys and girls enter the classroom with different needs, different abilities and different goals.
Anyone involved in the development and education of children can benefit greatly from this specific brain-based knowledge, and develop an enhanced ability to nurture and teach. If we as parents and teachers understand the brain and how each sex learns and processes information, we can make a real difference in helping prevent future mental misery.
Specialised topics
- The major brainsex differences between boys and girls and how they govern learning
- Brain-based teaching styles: what works best for boys and girls
- How to use brain-based science to bring out the best in every child
We can tailor this workshop to suit your needs. Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
